- End Date/Duration: Ongoing with open shifts in July and August; potential for extension
- Shift: Inpatient, clinic and call coverage; 7:30 am 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm 7:00 am on call, 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Hours/Week: 8 hours daily minimum, overtime applies after 8 hours/day
- Employment Type: Locum/Temporary
- License/Certs: Active California license, DEA required, BC certification in relevant specialty
- Experience: Previous experience in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery preferred
Pay & Benefits - Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour (to be confirmed upon application)

What You ll Do - Rounding on inpatients post-op
- First assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
- Seeing patients in outpatient clinics
- Interpret EKGs, X-rays, Labs, ECMO management
- Use advanced procedures such as endoscopic and radial artery harvesting, IABP, Impella support
- Respond to pagers during weeknight and weekend call shifts
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment
What You Need - Valid California medical license and DEA license
- Board certification in relevant field
- Prior experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgical settings preferred
- Skills in EKG interpretation, ECMO, IABP, Impella
- Ability to work flexible hours including call shifts
