Position Overview A well-established outpatient dermatology clinic in the Atlanta area is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality patient care in a busy clinical setting. This is a full-time locum opportunity with no call responsibilities and a strong support team in place.
Key Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations, assessments, and treatments
- Diagnose and manage a variety of skin conditions in an outpatient setting
- Conduct procedures within scope (e.g., biopsies, lesion removals, cryotherapy, etc.)
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment plans
- See approximately 24 patients per day
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR
Qualifications - Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active Georgia license (in hand at time of submission)
- DEA required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience in a clinical setting
- Experience with general dermatology procedures required
- Must be local to the Atlanta area (no travel or lodging provided)
