Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum services in Machias, ME. This is an excellent opportunity for a CRNA looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed starting February 2, 2026, with open shifts throughout the year (and ongoing) for ongoing, PRN, or potential permanent placement.
Job Details:
Case Types: General, Ortho, ENT, Urology, OBGYN (OB experience required), Blocks. No cardiac or neuro cases.
Setting: Hospital (Critical Access)
Schedule:
Shift: Standard 5, Day (8 Hours), 7:00 - 15:00
Call: Rotating on-call (1:3) is required, including Night Call.
Open Shifts: 2/2 - 2/6, 3/2 - 3/6, 3/30 - 4/10, 5/26 - 5/29, 6/1 - 6/5, 7/6 - 7/10
Support: Supervised capacity. The department has 3 CRNAs and 1 Full-Time Anesthesiologist/Director. Support staff includes OR nurses and MDs.
EMR System: Cerner
Requirements:
Active CRNA Certification (Required)
State License in Maine (or willingness to obtain)
BLS/ACLS/PALS (Required)
Experience in epidurals and nerve blocks preferred. Will accept new grads, but experience is preferred.
Provider MUST be COVID-19 vaccinated, no exceptions.
