This is a 24-hour STEMI beeper call position with emergency/temporary privileges available. The facility is open to physicians with immediate or near-term availability and is also seeking candidates interested in potential long-term or permanent placement.

Admissions: 2 per day
Patients Seen: 2 per day
Call Response Time: Within 30 minutes

Practice Setting: Inpatient Only
Trauma Level: II Stroke Certified: Yes
EMR: Epic
Requirements: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
Active Arizona License
Must be comfortable handling all aspects of interventional call coverage independently
Low Malpractice and no background for temporary privileges
Support & Logistics: No supervision required (no APPs or residents)
Nearest Airport: Tucson International Airport

Additional Information: This facility is looking to maintain consistent 24-hour STEMI call coverage while recruiting for a permanent Interventional Cardiologist. Locum physicians who perform well may be considered for future full-time opportunities.
