Position Overview: We are seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant with experience in cardiovascular, cardiothoracic surgery, or critical care to support a high-acuity inpatient program in Charlotte, NC. This is a nocturnist role offering a consistent 7-on/7-off schedule in a collaborative hospital setting.
Position Details: - Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
- Shift: 6:30 PM 6:30 AM (12-hour nights)
- Start Date: ASAP (credentialing 90 days)
- Contract Length: Minimum 3 months with strong extension potential
Clinical Responsibilities: - Provide nocturnal coverage for vascular surgery ICU (co-managed) and floor patients
- Manage cardiothoracic surgery floor patients (no CT ICU coverage required)
- Perform limited procedures including:
- Chest tube management
- Chest tube removal (no insertions)
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to manage complex surgical patients

Qualifications: - Board-Certified Physician Assistant

- Active DEA
