Job Title: Locum Physician - Oncology
Facility Overview: Join a dedicated team at a Free-Standing Cancer Center in the beautiful city of Greenville, South Carolina. This facility focuses on providing exceptional cancer care, featuring a supportive environment with a robust clinical team. The practice covers a range of services from outpatient care to inpatient oncology, ensuring comprehensive care for both adult and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in Tumor Board meetings.
- Manage Bone Marrow Transplants.
- Order tests and images as necessary.
- Prescribe treatments and medications.
- Administer chemotherapy in collaboration with Nurse Oncologists.
- Handle call responsibilities, with a schedule of 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks.
- Provide outpatient and inpatient care, managing an average of 25 outpatient and 20 inpatient patients daily.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology (REQUIRED)
- Active South Carolina medical license (REQUIRED)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (REQUIRED)
- DEA certification (REQUIRED)
- Ability to commit to 2 weeks of work per month (REQUIRED)
- Clean background for Emergency temp positions (REQUIRED)
- A Self-Query NPDB report must be provided at the time of presentation (within 30 days) (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active South Carolina medical license
- Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology
- BLS certification
- DEA certification
