We are seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with strong litigation experience to manage cases from inception through resolution or trial.
The Senior Associate Attorney will handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, negotiations, and trial preparation. This role requires a motivated self-starter with excellent writing skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage a full caseload while working collaboratively with supervising attorneys and support staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PI litigator looking to grow within a reputable firm handling high-value cases.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial
Conduct investigation of facts, liability, and damages
Monitor and evaluate medical treatment and records
Communicate directly with clients regarding case status and strategy
Draft demands, negotiate claims, and evaluate settlement opportunities
Prepare and file lawsuits and pleadings
Draft and respond to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions
Prepare and argue motions as necessary
Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
Collaborate with supervising attorneys and litigation staff to advance cases efficiently
Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned to support evolving business needs
Qualifications:
Active California Bar license in good standing (Required)
Prior personal injury litigation experience (Required)
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Highly organized with strong time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
Professional demeanor with strong work ethic and pride in work product
Compensation & Benefits:
$150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience, with opportunity for bonuses.
