Job Description Job Description Our law office is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our team. Experience in immigration law is preferred; however, we encourage entry-level candidates and recent graduates with a strong interest in the legal field to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist with immigration applications and petitions
  • Assist with removal defense cases
  • Gather supporting documentation and prepare case packets for filing with USCIS, EOIR, and immigration courts
  • Maintain organized case files and track deadlines
  • Communicate with clients to obtain required documentation
  • Draft letters, forms, and basic legal documents under attorney supervision
  • Assist with case status updates and follow-ups

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with immigration forms and case preparation preferred
  • Familiarity with USCIS forms
  • Experience with removal defense, asylum (I-589), and cancellation of removal (42B) is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
  • Experience in a law office environment preferred
