Summary/Objective: Makes and/or modifies parts on machining centers and other shop machines
Essential Functions:
1. Set up and run machining centers
2. Set up and run lathes
3. Measure parts using various measuring devices to verify specs on prints
4. Set up and run Omax waterjet
5. Use manual mill to modify parts
6. Clean and debur parts to get them ready for assembly or powder coating
Competencies:
1. Read and understand prints and measure parts using various measuring devices
2. Desire to learn
3. Time management
Physical Demands:
Requires standing and leaning over for extended length of time and may require lifting up to 75 lbs
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full Time, Monday Through Friday 8am - 5pm.
