We are a small, well-established law firm based in West Palm Beach, Florida, seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience, preferably within a defense firm handling first-party property matters.
This position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to play a key role in all phases of litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation case files from inception through trial
- Conduct public records review and investigations
- Draft, prepare, and file legal documents and pleadings
- Handle party and non-party discovery production
- Summarize records and documents
- Assist with mediation, depositions, and trial preparation
- Maintain organized case files and meet billable hour requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation (first-party property preferred)
- Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional interaction with attorneys, court personnel, clients, and staff
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe
- Strong document drafting and typing skills
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Hybrid work options available
- Compensation commensurate with experience
