Engineering Technician I
We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician I to support product development, prototyping, equipment design, and testing activities. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys troubleshooting, building, and working in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate prototype products and assist with tooling and process development
- Perform physical testing on materials, components, and finished devices
- Design, build, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and tooling
- Support pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical system assembly and testing
- Develop manufacturing documentation, test protocols, and technical reports
- Conduct equipment qualifications and assist with engineering change processes
- Perform basic equipment repairs, calibration support, and process improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation and a clean, safe work environment
- Collaborate with engineering teams and train staff on processes as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year in a technical or mechanical role
- Electromechanical experience required
- Ability to use hand tools and basic lab/shop equipment
- Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office)
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work in lab, maintenance shop, and cleanroom environments
- Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
