The Opportunity We are an established law firm in the Mahoning Valley seeking a motivated Litigation Associate with
2-5 years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will work directly with partners on business and employment litigation, gaining hands-on experience from day one.
What You'll Do:
- Lead Discovery: Manage all phases of discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
- Advocate in Court: Regularly appear for hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Client Ownership: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, translating complex legal issues into actionable strategy.
What We're Looking For:
- Litigation Experience: Minimum 2 years prior litigation experience.
- Writing Excellence: Ability to craft persuasive, clear, and non-convoluted legal arguments.
- Adaptability: A "skills-first" mindset with an interest in learning new legal technologies.
- Bar Admission: Must be a member in good standing with the Ohio Bar.
