We are actively seeking a driven and client-focused Associate Attorney to join our growing Personal Injury team. This role offers the opportunity to manage cases from intake through resolution, including both pre-litigation and litigation, making it ideal for an attorney who wants hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of a case.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent results and client service.
What You'll Do
- Manage a caseload from intake through settlement or trial
- Handle all aspects of pre-litigation, including:
- Meeting with clients
- Client communication and case evaluation
- Reviewing and understanding medical records and bills
- Negotiating with insurance adjusters
- Transition and manage cases into litigation, including:
- Drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Taking and defending depositions
- Attending hearings, mediations, and court appearances
- Preparing cases for trial
- Develop case strategies to maximize client recovery
- Work closely with paralegals, and support staff
- Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the process
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution
- Licensed and in good standing with the Alabama State Bar
- Experience in personal injury (pre-litigation and/or litigation preferred)
- Strong negotiation and litigation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
