Finisher (small parts)
Location: South Holland, IL
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour base hourly guarantee + piecework (earn more based on production), 30 mins lunch (unpaid) and two 10 min breaks (paid)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Assignment Type: Temp to hire
Requirements: Resume/Interview/Authorized to work in the U.S.
Position Overview
Our client is seeking detail-oriented individuals for a Small Parts Finisher role in the Finishing Department. This position involves operating finishing machines to cut and shape small abrasive products to precise manufacturing specifications. This is a piecework-based role offering strong earning potential for high performers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate finishing machines to cut and finish small parts to required specifications
- Monitor product quality to ensure proper size, shape, and finish
- Perform routine measurements to maintain consistency and accuracy
- Maintain steady production output to maximize earnings
- Record production totals and follow work order requirements
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Requirements:
- Good measuring skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Motivated to work in a performance-based (piecework) pay structure
