Precision Fabricators is a manufacturer of 316L Stainless Steel Vessels for the semiconductor industry.
Must Have Recent (Within the last 3 months) Welding Experience
Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role
A Welding Test Will Be Required
-Must have formal welding training (academic or experience-based) and pass ASME Section 9 Certification.
-Review drawings and packages for weldability - comfortable with shop math for dimensions, part location, etc
-Ensure all parts are thoroughly cleaned prior to welding
-Robotic Welding Experience Preferred but Not Required
-Inspect welds for proper condition
i. Aesthetics
ii. Discoloration
iii. Inclusion
iv. Porosity
v. Concavity
vi. Convexity
vii. Consistency
-Pursue a policy of continuous improvement both on a weld level, and a personal level with quarterly training objectives
-Fabricate cylinder components
-Desired experience includes 316L welding; vacuum industry welding; semiconductor industry welding
