Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze product and be capable of problem solving.

Responsible to support the Production supervisor in the coordination and performance of the production activities

Direct and motivate employees to obtain increased productivity. Must have good communication skills.

Monitor inventory rotation to avoid obsolescence.

Instruct new employee and review performance.

Monitor good housekeeping for peak performance and to minimize accident claims.

Review all quality issues and take steps to ensure that there will be no further developments.

Analyze production procedures and develop continuous improvement procedures.

Ensure all SOP's are understood and followed by employees.

Check fabric trailers in the yard and update the traffic report.

Enter data into Man base system.

Must be able to read, understand and comply with established company and plant policies and procedures such as

S.O.P., S.E.P., etc. which are all written in English.

Keep your area clean and organized throughout the shift in accordance with 5S standards.

Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Supervisory Training and/or 1 year experience.

Knowledge of ISO/TS16949.

Mentor new employees

Communicate with supervisor when non-conforming product.

Stops production to correct quality problems.

Environmental aspect and impact awareness.

Report any inconsistency or nonconformance on the product and participate in the corrective/preventive actions process

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

•High School diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or higher preferred

•Prior manufacturing experience 3 to 5 years preferred

•General computer knowledge required (Microsoft Office)

•Clear understanding of English - written and oral

•Work independently under general direction to set priorities, manage workload, and meet deadlines
