About the Role: Join HILLTIP INC as a Paint Prep Technician - Metal Finisher in Fort Wayne, IN, where you'll play a crucial role in preparing high-quality metal surfaces for finishing. Responsibilities: - Prepare metal surfaces by electrochemical weld cleaning, sanding, grinding, chipping and pressure washing
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements: - Previous experience in paint preparation or metal finishing preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Benefits: - Monday through Friday schedule
- 6 am to 2:30 pm
- Overtime is available
