Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Welding Fabricator with strong proficiency in 2G, 3G, and 4G welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fabrication and welding, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions
- Fabricate and assemble metal components per blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards and structural requirements
- Operate a variety of tools and fabrication equipment including grinders, plasma cutters, and saws
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following company and OSHA safety standards
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow fabricators to meet project timelines
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of welding and fabrication experience
- Demonstrated ability in 2G, 3G, and 4G welding positions (certification preferred)
- Proficient in reading blueprints and welding symbols
- Experience working with carbon steel and other structural metals
- Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certification(s)
- Experience in heavy equipment or mining industry fabrication
- Forklift and overhead crane operation certification
