Position Overview
Required:
5+ years in fabrication or welding experience in a shop or industrial setting
Ability to read tape measure, angles, fractions and shop math
Experience with MIG welding, TIG welding and Stick welding
Understanding of metal types, thicknesses, and heat effects
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to craftsmanship
Reliable Transportation
Preferred:
Millwright or equipment installation background
Forklift, scissor lift, or overhead crane certification
Ability to interpret engineered drawings and welding symbols
AWS welding certifications
Mechanical aptitude
Problem solving and troubleshooting
Teamwork and communication
Reliability and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Work Environment
Fabrication shop and occasional onsite installation
Exposure to sparks, heat, noise, and moving equipment
PPE required (gloves, eye protection, boots, etc.)
Overtime or travel may be required depending on project needs
