Job Summary We are looking for an
Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our busy repair shop who can maintain, repair, and diagnose diesel-powered vehicles and machinery such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, and farm implements. The ideal candidate is mechanically proficient, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team to ensure vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities - Diagnose engine and vehicle problems using computerized diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and traditional mechanical methods
- Perform preventive maintenance, such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid service, and routine inspections
- Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
- Conduct field visits for emergency or breakdown repairs
- Create repair estimates and timelines
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with other repair team members to coordinate work, share expertise, and meet service schedules
- Keep accurate records of parts used, labor hours, and completed work
Required Skills & Qualifications - Minimum 4 Years Diesel Mechanic Experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic and repair tools
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environment
