Overview:
Transmission Line Project Engineer will be responsible for leading the engineering and design of complex high-voltage transmission line projects, typically supporting infrastructure ranging from 60kV-500kV. This role works closely with project managers, construction teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to develop technical designs, evaluate project alternatives, ensure compliance with GO 95/NESC standards, and support project execution from planning through construction. Will be handling about 7-15 projects at a time ranging from $200k-$25 million.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years' experience in Transmission line project engineering
- PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, TOWER, or PLS-TOWER software experience
- 60kV - 500kV Transmission Line experience
- Communication skills
- Will be interfacing with a lot of different internal and external stakeholders
- Organizational Skills
Desired (NOT REQUIRED):
- Active PE license
- SAP
- ETGIS, Grid Search
Degree:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (REQUIRED)
