Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of complex Data Center and Mission Critical projects. This role will focus on power distribution, electrical infrastructure, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams for highly technical facilities.


Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems for Data Centers and Mission Critical facilities, including power distribution, UPS, generators, lighting, and grounding systems
  • Prepare electrical calculations, specifications, single-line diagrams, and construction documents
  • Coordinate with mechanical, structural, architectural, and client teams throughout all project phases
  • Support project planning, site investigations, and construction administration activities
  • Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Participate in commissioning, troubleshooting, and quality assurance processes
  • Ensure designs comply with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and applicable industry standards
  • Support adaptive reuse and high-density infrastructure projects within existing facilities


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in MEP consulting engineering
  • Experience with Data Center, Mission Critical, or complex infrastructure projects preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design software
  • Strong understanding of power systems, emergency power, and critical electrical infrastructure
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and industry design standards
  • PE License or EIT preferred
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in a fast-paced project environment


Preferred Experience

  • Mission Critical or Data Center project experience
  • Experience with commissioning and construction administration
  • Familiarity with SKM, ETAP, or power system studies
  • Experience working on complex commercial, healthcare, laboratory, or institutional projects
