Prestige Staffing Services is seeking experienced Tool and Die Makers for direct hire opportunities with outstanding benefits on 2nd and 3rd shift.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Repair, maintain and make improvements to all tools and fixtures
- Assist in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required
- Safely operate all tool room equipment: Bridgeport mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc.
- Assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling problems
- Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); journeyman's certification and/or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate ability to use all hand measurement tools and to read and interpret tooling drawings
- Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment
