Our client, a prestigious global law firm with a highly regarded Intellectual Property practice, is seeking to hire a Senior Trademark Docket Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing team supporting sophisticated domestic and international trademark work.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented trademark professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys working closely with attorneys and IP support teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update trademark deadlines, due dates, and docket records in the firm's trademark docketing system
- Process domestic and international trademark correspondence and USPTO filings
- Monitor daily trademark dockets and communicate critical deadlines to attorneys and staff
- Generate and distribute docket reports
- Perform quality control reviews of docketing work
- Assist with new trademark matter openings and portfolio management
- Support firm and client-specific docketing procedures while ensuring compliance with risk management standards
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of trademark docketing experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Strong knowledge of USPTO trademark procedures and deadlines
- Experience maintaining trademark docketing systems
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- CPI experience is highly preferred
- Experience with iManage and Microsoft Office is a plus
