Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or machining centers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform precision machining operations to produce quality parts within tolerances.
- Operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other conventional equipment as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet customer requirements and production schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of machining experience preferred.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
- Proficiency operating manual lathes and milling machines.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T is preferred.
- Experience with precision measuring tools and maintaining tight tolerances.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or machining certifications are a plus.
