We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining processes, with the ability to operate CNC lathes and milling machines safely and effectively. This role requires precise attention to detail, and the capability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components while adhering to safety standards and lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes (DN Solutions and Mazak) and milling machines (DN Solutions and Haas) to manufacture precision parts according to customer specifications.
- Utilize GD&T principles for accurate part measurement and quality control.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents.
- Conduct setup, calibration, and maintenance of CNC equipment.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes and tooling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Assist in assembly tasks as needed using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform and support Environmental, Health and Safety audits and related activities
- Participate in process improvement, cycle reduction, and other activities as required to support the overall company mission.
Experience
- 2-year post-secondary degree in Machine Tool Technology and 1-year of experience machining components with close tolerances on 2 or more axis CNC machines.
- OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience machining components with close tolerances on 2 or more axis CNC machines.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages (Mazatrol / Fanuc preferred) and CAM software (Fusion 360).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining operations.
- Knowledge of forklift operation is beneficial but not required.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, safety shoes, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work 4, 10-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday)
- Must be a US Citizen
