About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines
Load tools, fixtures, and materials according to job requirements
Run and adjust CNC programs as needed to maintain quality
Perform tool offsets, wear adjustments, and basic program edits
Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and job travelers
Troubleshoot machining issues and make corrections
Maintain production schedules and meet quality standards
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
2-5 years of CNC machining experience preferred
Technical/trade school training a plus
Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes
Ability to read complex blueprints and specifications
Strong math skills and understanding of machining tolerances
Ability to lift up to 45lbs and stand for extended periods
Schedule:
1st- Monday through Thursday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
2nd- Monday through Thursday 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM (must be willing to train on 1st)
Pay: $18.00 and up depending on experience
