The Foreman at ALLIED ELECTRIC INC will oversee and manage electrical projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves coordinating with team members, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of electricians and apprentices, providing guidance and support to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee daily work activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the project.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues that arise during the course of the project.
  • Ensure that all team members are trained and knowledgeable about the latest industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to electrical work and safety.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth among team members.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical work is preferred.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical construction or maintenance.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Experience with project planning and execution in the electrical field.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical schematics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and management.
  • Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment safely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in electrical work.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
