Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, client-focused Paralegal to join our team. This role is essential to the success of our attorneys and clients, serving as a key point of contact throughout the legal process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with attorneys on active family law matters while helping clients feel informed and supported during challenging times.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with case strategy, preparation, and management
- Draft, organize, and manage legal pleadings and discovery
- Assist with trial preparation, mediations, and hearings
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case updates and document collection
- Maintain case files, deadlines, and records within the firm's case management system
- Help improve workflows and internal processes for greater efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law or litigation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple attorneys
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with clients navigating stressful situations
- Experience with Clio or similar case management software preferred
- Familiarity with document automation tools such as Form Builder is a plus
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
