We work on Molds for the Plastic Industry. Specifically vacuum and thermorforming molds. We work with aluminum, wood and polyboards to make tooling. All of our molds are one of a kind. So we don't produce 1000 parts of the same thing over and over. We see all types of molds for different industries like Aerospace, Automotive, Shipping trays , and display trays. We are seeking a Mold Maker- Job Shop- Machine Shopto join our team! You will be in the shop learning multiple skills:
If you are lacking skills, we are willing to teach if you want to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools - Hand drills, Air grinders, and other air tools to work on the molds
- You will learn to solder copper to copper and copper to stainless steel
- All Variety of Machine shop work like: drilling and tapping holes,sandblasting, welding, fabrication of molds etc.
- Manual machining on molds and using different types of Job Shop equipment
- We have manual mills, band saws cnc machines welders, grinders and other types of Job shop equipment
- Welding experience is a plus but not required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
- Familiarity machine tools and equipment
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Strong attention to detail
