Fully Remote Bilingual Spanish (English) Paralegal- Personal Injury

Position Overview:
We're seeking an experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish) paralegal to support our attorneys in all phases of personal injury and workers' compensation matters. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case management from intake through resolution
- Draft and file notices, discovery responses, requests for hearing, and other legal documents
- Communicate with clients (in both English & Spanish), medical providers, opposing counsel, and insurers
- Maintain case files and deposition calendars
- Obtain records and billing statements from various medical providers
- Obtain subrogation liens from group health insurance carriers and government agencies (i.e., Medicare CMS, Medicaid)
- Experience negotiating these liens.
- Support attorneys with hearing and trial preparation (when needed)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury
- Prior experience in Workers' Compensation
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written) required
- Strong knowledge of Illinois legal procedures and court filings
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with case management software (e.g., FileVine) Google Workspace/Gmail & Office
