Join our aerospace and defense machine shop in Brownsburg, Indiana. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist focused on setup, operation, and producing high-quality precision parts.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Run established programs and maintain part quality
- Make minor offsets and basic program edits as needed
- Select tooling and support efficient setups
- Assist with fixturing and workholding
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Follow quality procedures and maintain documentation
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years CNC machining experience
- Strong setup and operation skills
- Blueprint reading and tolerance control
- Understanding of tooling, speeds, and feeds
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and consistent
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic G-code editing
- CAM exposure (Fusion 360, Mastercam, etc.)
- GD&T familiarity
- Haas, Mazak, or Fanuc controls
- Aerospace/defense experience
- Trade school or apprenticeship
