The CNC Lathe Machinist will be responsible for fabricating new and recurring parts per customer specifications. Inspection and documentation required per company standards. Perform set-ups for optimal machine utilization to complete the necessary operation(s) per drawing specifications. Maintain machinery and work centers through approved preventative maintenance programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to run a Star or Citizen machine.
Have strong drawing reading skills.
Have Swiss ability.
Able to fill-out reports and appropriate areas of job travelers.
Able to log in and out of the shop tech system to record the quantity of parts manufactured and the quantity of parts scrapped.
Create Tool sheets for new jobs and revised jobs.
