We are hiring multiple Carpenter Apprentices for a large scale new construction project in South Florida, with openings across Miami Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals looking to grow their skills and advance within the construction trade. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will support journeyman carpenters and site supervisors in building, installing, and maintaining structural and finish components on active job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Framing - Support layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and metal framing.
- Material Handling - Load, unload, and stage materials for carpentry tasks.
- Tool Operation - Safely use hand tools, power tools, and job site equipment under supervision.
- Site Preparation - Help set up work areas, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety protocols.
- Support Senior Carpenters - Assist with formwork, drywall, doors, hardware, and other carpentry tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of construction or carpentry experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on active job sites
- Reliable transportation to job sites across South Florida
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Preferred Skills
- OSHA 10 Certification or OSHA 30 Certification (REQUIRED)
- Experience with framing, formwork, or finish carpentry
- Familiarity with construction drawings or measurements
