Noble General Contractors is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter / Framer how is interested in growing into a SuperintendentAssistant role to join our construction team.
This position is ideal for a motivated construction professional with strong carpentry and framing skills, leadership ability, and a desire to develop project management, scheduling, coordination, and supervisory experience.
The selected candidate will initially lead framing and carpentry operations while receiving training and mentorship to transition into a Superintendent Assistant position.
Responsibilities
1.- Lead and supervise framing and carpentry crews.
2.- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
3.- Coordinate daily work activities to maintain project schedules.
4.- Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements.
5.- Assist with site logistics, subcontractor coordination, and material management.
6.- Participate in project planning, safety meetings, and progress tracking.
7.- Train and mentor crew members.
8.- Maintain jobsite safety and company standards.
9.- Work closely with project superintendents to learn project management and field supervision responsibilities.
Qualifications:
1.- Experience in commercial construction projects.
2.- 5+ years of carpentry and framing experience.
3.- Previous experience leading crews or serving as a foreman preferred.
4.- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
5.- Strong knowledge of framing methods, building codes, and construction best practices.
6.- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
7.- Must be able to successfully pass background checks required for work on government, educational, healthcare, industrial, or other secure job sites.
