Outside Sales Account Manager - Abilene, TX Territory K & N Mobile Distribution Systems

K & N Mobile Distribution Systems is seeking a driven and self-motivated Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team in the Abilene territory. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to serve a very established customer base, grow long-term relationships, and bring in new business.

As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding existing accounts while prospecting and acquiring new business through referrals and cold calls. You will operate from one of our fully equipped "Mobile Parts Stores," which carry over 2,000 high-quality products and provide access to thousands more.

What We Offer:

  • Starting Salary: $5,000 per month, plus generous bonuses and commissions
  • Fuel Allowance: $1,000 per month
  • Commissions: Exceptional earning potential, with our average salesman earning over $100K annually
  • Health Insurance: Paid for by the company
  • Career Growth: This position transitions to a full commission-based role after 12-18 months, allowing you to maximize your earning potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Regularly visit and service existing accounts to ensure their needs are met and identify opportunities for growth.
  • New Business Development: Prospect and cold call to build a pipeline of new customers.
  • Product Education: Introduce new products and services to customers, helping them find solutions that meet their needs.
  • Inventory Management: Provide "just-in-time" inventory solutions to customers through regular restocking from your Mobile Parts Store.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently after training
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both existing customers and new prospects
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and D.O.T. physical (CDL not required)
  • No prior sales experience required-just a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales career
