Responsibilities: - Lead and manage bridge inspection teams to assess structural conditions and safety compliance.
- Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of bridges, documenting findings accurately.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and provide actionable recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to discuss inspection results and next steps.
- Train and mentor junior inspectors on best practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding bridge safety.
- Utilize advanced inspection technologies and methods to enhance data collection.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with industry trends.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge inspection or structural engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
- Strong knowledge of bridge inspection standards (e.g., NBI, NBIS).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in inspection software and data analysis tools.
