Local general contracting firm is currently looking for an experienced and exceptional Superintendent with knowledge in kitchen, commercial and / or medical construction with five to seven years of experience.
The Superintendent will oversee medium to large commercial construction projects, from active construction through post-construction closeout. This role requires a full-time onsite presence and direct client interaction to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily activities on commercial construction sites
- Manage teams of 11-30+ personnel effectively
- Coordinate all phases of construction projects
- Maintain direct communication with clients
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Skills:
- Strong positive attitude and professional communication skills
- Proficient with computers and construction software
- Ability to develop and manage CPM schedules
- Prepare accurate daily work reports and timecards
- Strong written documentation and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- 5+ years' experience in construction management
- Current 30 Hour OSHA Safety Certification
- Pre-hire drug screening required
