Position Overview:
We are partnering with a growing, people-focused general contractor to hire an experienced Traveling Superintendent. This role is responsible for leading on-site construction operations across multiple projects nationwide, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to project completion
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field labor to ensure alignment with project scope
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and maintain OSHA compliance
- Develop and maintain project schedules; proactively address delays or conflicts
- Conduct daily site walks to ensure quality control and adherence to plans/specifications
- Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, architects, and engineers
- Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders
- Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and project documentation
- Ensure jobsite organization, cleanliness, and efficiency
- Support project closeout, including punch lists and final inspections
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in commercial construction
- 3-5+ years in a Superintendent or lead field role
- Strong experience with ground-up and/or tenant improvement projects preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA certification (OSHA 30 preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with construction management software and basic computer tools
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
Travel Requirements
- Must be willing to travel extensively and stay on-site for the duration of projects
- Projects may be located nationwide, with potential for extended assignments
