Position Summary
This is a full-time, union position for an Asphalt Foreman to oversee paving projects, ensuring quality and efficiency, located in the area of Stow, Ohio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and lead asphalt paving crew
Ensure paving work is completed safely, efficiently, and above the required quality standards
Ability to perform asphalt work in accordance with applicable ODOT and county specifications
Complete jobs on time and within budget
Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols
Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt paving work
Working knowledge of construction equipment
Ability to calculate material volume and basic areas of measurement
Strong planning and analytical skills
Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours worked
Enforce safety policies and ensure that all crew members comply with safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites
