After 21 years of successful custom building in the Milwaukee Market, UBuildIt is expanding to Madison. We are seeking a dynamic New Home Sales & Planning Consultant to be the face of our brand in this area.

At UBuildIt Custom Homes and Renovations, we don't just sell homes; we empower homeowners to take control of their custom build using our proven systems, allowing them to save thousands on their new custom home.
The Role
You will serve as the primary point of contact for Madison area prospects, acting as both an educator and a guide. Your goal is to foster a consultative, high-trust environment where clients feel confident embarking on their home-building journey.
Core Responsibilities:
- Consult & Educate: Lead prospects through our discovery process, clearly demonstrating the unique value and advantages of the UBuildIt model over traditional custom builders.
- Pipeline Management: Proactively manage and track leads using our CRM, ensuring timely follow-up from initial inquiry through project kickoff.
- Project Facilitation: Assist clients in identifying needs, evaluating lot potential, coordinating design stages, and developing initial project budgets.
- Relationship Building: Serve as the brand ambassador in Madison, cultivating long-term relationships with prospects and trade partners.
- Collaboration: Partner with our internal construction consultants and purchasing department to ensure a seamless transition from the initial sale to the active build phase.
- Model Home Stewardship: Manage our award-winning Parade Model home in Waunakee, establishing a consistent open house schedule.
- Continuous Growth: Participate in industry events (Parade of Homes/Home Shows) and actively refine product knowledge and sales techniques.
What We're Looking For
We need a detail-oriented communicator who balances technical construction knowledge with a high-touch, consultative sales approach.
- Experience: Proven background in new home/remodeling sales or real estate. (Real Estate license not required).
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read construction plans is required. Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office, and CRM/lead management software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, confident terms.
- Attributes: A natural curiosity for the building process and a deep commitment to client success.
Work Environment
- Base of Operations: Work out of our Parade Model Home in Waunakee, WI.
- Schedule: Flexible 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday). Requires some consistent weekend open houses; evenings are generally not required.
- Collaboration: Frequent interaction with our Brookfield headquarters and the wider team.
