Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on various materials and thicknesses
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Prepare materials (cutting, grinding, cleaning) prior to welding
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Collaborate with fabrication team to complete projects on schedule
Requirements:
- 2+ years of TIG welding experience (preferred)
- Ability to weld stainless and aluminum is a must
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to read blueprints and measurements accurately
- Familiarity with shop tools (grinders, saws, etc.)
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certification (a plus, not required)
- Experience in fabrication or modular construction
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
