We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oilfield equipment sales, industrial manufacturing, or heavy machinery, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and drive business growth across assigned territories. This role requires a self-starter with technical understanding of the products we manufacture and the ability to communicate value to both existing and prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the customer base within assigned territories.
  • Identify new business opportunities in the oilfield, energy, and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular on-site visits and professional communication.
  • Present product lines, capabilities, and technical solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate with internal departments - engineering, operations, and customer service - to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and bid packages based on customer requirements.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed to promote company products and services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience in oilfield equipment, manufacturing, industrial supply, or related sectors (required).
  • Strong technical understanding of mud pumps, blocks, swivels, valves, and pressure-control equipment preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and manage customer accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to travel regularly to customer sites and trade events.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
