Key Responsibilities
- Travel nationwide to install GolfSheds on-site (installations typically take 3-5 days). Approximately 70% travel
- Lead and manage a small installation crew, including subcontractors as needed
- Interpret construction documents and installation plans accurately
- Ensure installations meet our high standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship
- Coordinate logistics with clients, vendors, and internal project managers
- Manage tools, materials, and equipment needed for each job
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve on-site issues independently
- Maintain detailed job documentation and installation reports
Qualifications
- A hands-on leader with strong construction experience - preferably 5+ years
- Comfortable managing others, and absolutely willing to jump in and do the work yourself
- Technically skilled in framing, leveling, finishing, and overall build-outs
- Able and willing to travel frequently (expect 70% of the time on the road)
- Physically fit, with the stamina to work outdoors and lift heavy components
- Organized and proactive, with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable with power tools, hand tools, and small machinery
- Valid Driver's License (CDL a plus)
- Comfortable using mobile apps for job tracking and reporting
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Skills & Experience (Optional)
- Forklift or equipment operation certifications a Plus
- Have direct experience with tiny home installations, shed or modular building erection, or similar prefabricated structures
- Experience with basic electrical and low-voltage wiring
- General understanding of construction permits and code compliance
- Previous experience in a traveling construction role
