Job description

  • Setting: Cardiovascular Surgery floor, OR and clinic
  • Scope: rounding on postop, first assist, seeing patients in clinic, call coverage
  • Procedures: EVH and ERAH, ECMO IABP and Impella, interpret EKG, X-rays and labs
  • Dates: Dates: July ; Aug 3 9; Aug ; and ongoing gap coverage
  • Call schedule: 1:2, every other weekend and 2 days per week
  • Call type: beeper, 20-30 min response time
  • Work schedule: 7:30a-4p floor shift, next day on call 6p-7a
  • Volume: 5-8
  • Program staff: 2 PAs, 3 MAs
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Requirements: active CA lic, DEA, BLS, ACLS
