Job Summary We are seeking a professional
Safety Manager to join our team. In this role, you will establish policies to create and maintain a safe workplace and ensure company-wide compliance with those policies. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with the ability to educate a varied workforce on the importance of safety and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities - Follow legal guidelines to create and execute health and safety plans
- Enforce health and safety policies within the workplace
- Evaluate existing practices to assess their risk and adherence to the law, revise as necessary
- Conduct company-wide trainings and presentations to educate employees on accident prevention and other health and safety concerns
- Monitor compliance with health and safety guidelines
- Inspect equipment and workspaces to identify potentially unsafe conditions
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in safety management or related field is preferred
- Be able to work 6:00pm to 6:00am
- Previous experience as a Safety manager is preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write policies and reports
- Understanding of risk assessment and data analysis
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable giving presentations in large groups
