Locums - A well respected hospital system is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist with Neurosurgery coverage in northwestern Pennsylvania.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Start August 2026 for ongoing need
- Minimum of 1 year of neurosurgery or surgical experience required
- Weekend coverage is highly prioritized with rare and sporadic additional weekday opportunities available
- Friday 5p-7a; Sat/Sun 7a-7a; weekdays would be 7a-5p when needed
- Responsibilities include rounding, consults, admissions, floor call management
- Approx 15-20 ppd
- Adult patient population
- Call is telephone based (calls from floor and placing orders), will not require provider to be on-site after hospital shift hours
- First assist experience preferred but not required
- Cases included spine and cranial neurosurgery patients
- EMR EPIC
- PA license preferred or willing to obtain ASAP, BLS, ACLS, recent case logs required
