Patient Population: Obstetric & Gynecologic Patients
Setting: Hospital & Clinic
Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour in-house OB/GYN call coverage
- Manage Labor & Delivery services
- Handle unassigned OB/GYN hospital call
- Perform routine OB/GYN procedures and minor gynecologic surgeries
- Supervise and manage residents
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary women's health team
Support Staff:
- 5 Board-Certified OB/GYN Physicians
- 5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners
- 1 Certified Nurse Midwife
Practice Volume:
- 70-75 Deliveries Per Month
- 20-25 Non-Obstetrical Surgeries Per Month
EMR System: Epic
Hospital Details:
- 146-Bed Acute Care Medical Center
- Level II Nursery
- 280+ Physician Medical Staff
Coverage Needed:
- 4-8 In-House 24-Hour Call Shifts Per Month
- Up to 2 Consecutive 24-Hour Shifts Allowed
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Active Virginia License (Licensing Assistance Available)
- DEA Required
- Minimum 2-3 Years of Experience (5+ Preferred)
- Strong OB/GYN Background Required
- Resident Teaching Experience Preferred
