Job description

  • Specialty: Anesthesiologist
  • Dates/Schedule: July 3- 12 + 2nd call until July 13 at 7 AM
  • Shift Hours: 7 AM - 3 PM
  • Call Ratio: Yes, 2nd call every night. (CRNA take first call)
  • Very light call. May go in for c-section
  • Case Mix: Gen surgery, OBGYN- 260 deliveries/year. 25-30% c-section. May need to do Epidural placements. They have 2 OB's on staff. Ped(3+ for ENT, appendectomy), Gen Ortho, Ophthamology, Interventional RAD, Pulm every 4th week.
  • Patient Demographic/ages: peds 3+ for tonsils or appendectomy
  • Supervision and Ratio: Yes
  • Active License: Yes, PA active
  • Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS The Independence Difference:
