What You ll Do
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy
- Perform subspecialty case reviews in ER, neuro, pediatrics, mammography, and other areas
- Assist with light interventional radiology procedures, including biopsies (thyroid, lung, liver, bone, renal), drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainage), lumbar punctures, myelograms, and joint injections
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret imaging results
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to radiology protocols
- Manage a daily volume of approximately 90-100 cases with expected RVU targets
What You Need
- Current PA medical license and board certification in Radiology
- Minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience in diagnostic imaging
- Strong knowledge of IR procedures, biopsies, and drainages
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced hospital environment
